What we do here
- A landlord has kept your bond
- A termination notice you think is invalid
- Repairs that are not being done
- NCAT applications and hearings
- Landlords ending a tenancy properly

Questions people ask
The landlord. Fair wear and tear is not deductible, and a landlord cannot charge you for a new item to replace an old one — only its residual value.
Six months after the bond is paid out, not six months after the tenancy ends.

Only with 60 days written notice, only once in any 12 months, and not at all in the first 12 months of the tenancy. Since 31 October 2024 that applies to fixed-term agreements as well as periodic ones. If you say the increase is excessive you can take it to NCAT, but you have 30 days from the notice to apply.
